An interactive lesson on talking about the past.
Read the conversation between two colleagues, Anna and Mark, at the end of the day.
Anna: Hi Mark. How was your day?
Mark: It was busy! I arrived at the office early and answered a lot of emails. Then I had three meetings.
Anna: Wow. Did you have lunch?
Mark: No, I didn't. I just had a coffee. I wanted to finish my report.
Anna: What about you? How was your day? You moved to a new apartment last weekend.
Mark: It was great! I unpacked all my boxes. My parents visited me and they helped a lot. We cooked dinner together.
Anna: That's nice. Did you go out last night?
Mark: No, I didn't. I was tired. I just stayed home and watched a movie.
Anna: Well, you worked hard. Time to go home!
